Common FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where is ASI Benefits located?

ASI Benefits is founded and headquartered in Chicagoland. We operate as a fully remote team, which means we serve clients across Illinois, California, Texas, and beyond without any drop in service quality or responsiveness.

  • How is ASI different from a large national brokerage?

The biggest difference is access. At a national brokerage, a company with 50 to 200 employees is a small account. At ASI, that's our core client profile — and it shows in how we serve them. You deal directly with named team members, not a support queue. We also include tools like Employee Navigator and Mineral HR in every client relationship, which most brokers don't offer at all.

  • Is ASI a PEO?

No. ASI is an independent employee benefits brokerage. We provide HRIS access through Employee Navigator and compliance support through Mineral HR as part of our broker service — but there is no co-employment arrangement. You stay the employer of record. We handle the benefits and HR infrastructure.

  • What size companies does ASI work with?

We work with employers from the time they first start offering benefits through their growth into the hundreds of employees. The sweet spot is companies that are actively scaling — adding headcount, formalizing HR policies, and outgrowing whatever they were doing before.

  • How do I get started?

The easiest first step is scheduling a consultation. We'll learn about where your company is today, where you're headed, and what gaps we'd want to address. There's no obligation and no sales pressure — just a conversation about whether we're the right fit.
